Rocky View County’s Parks, Recreational and Community Services group is seeking information on how your organization approaches the disposition of municipally-owned land through the:

• Leasing of “Fee Simple” land,
• Issuing of “License of Occupations” for Municipal Reserves, and
• The Sale of Municipal Land, including Reserves and non-reserve municipal land.

Specifically, they are interested in how your organization approaches

• Contract terms
• Pre-application inspections and annual inspections
• Enforcement and compliance issues
• Criteria for determining appropriate method of disposal of municipal Lands
• Process of sale of municipal land (Use of realtor, public tendering, etc…)

Rocky View County is revising and drafting new policies and procedures that will affect their inventory of County owned property.
